Through the art of Canadian fiddle music, we motivate, educate, and inspire children to develop musically and socially.
Since the formation of The Bow Valley Fiddlers in 1995, this highly skilled group of amateur musicians, ranging from 7 to 18 years of age, has entertained thousands of people in and around the Calgary area. The Bow Valley Fiddlers are a division of The Calgary Fiddlers Association. This young group of fiddlers was first put together to act as a feeder group for the world-renowned Calgary Fiddlers. Over the past 27 years it has grown into an educational program focusing on using music to develop youth. We are proud to continue to bring toe tappin' joy to the Seniors in our community with our 'Celebrate Canada' program.

The Calgary Fiddlers are a musically gifted group of young people who love to perform and who appeal to audiences of all ages around the world. This exciting ensemble bursts on to stage to deliver high energy performances of a wide range of music from traditional folk fiddling to country, bluegrass, Celtic and even big band. Each fiddler has a rigorous training schedule that includes private and group coaching sessions on a weekly basis, in addition to performing at over 100 functions in and around Calgary and touring both locally and internationally. Past notable appearances include the opening of the “Live with Kelly” show in Banff, AB, and a featured spot on the Australian TODAY show, filmed at Lake Louise. This year they have been invited to perform with the "Los Violines de San Juan"" ( a group of children from low income homes) in a village in Peru. Additionally, we are proud to continue to bring toe tappin' joy to the Seniors in our community - performing at over 60 senior facilities each year with our 'Celebrate Canada' program.
