Since the formation of The Bow Valley Fiddlers in 1991, this highly skilled group of amateur musicians, ranging from 7 to 18 years of age, has entertained thousands of people in and around the Calgary area.
The Bow Valley Fiddlers is a division of The Calgary Fiddlers Association and although they are separate and distinct from The Calgary Fiddlers division, both groups fall under the same Association.
As members of performance groups, they also benefit from the educational coaching and training provided by the Association. These vibrant musicians have become known for their distinctive ability to present traditional and original fiddle tunes in an innovative and youthful style.
